Dear Sir or Madam,

The pandemic caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) is having an increasing impact on the global economy. The situation changes daily. The WIKA Group has prepared itself to react immediately to this development.

The health of our employees and business partners has top priority. With this in mind, we nevertheless do everything possible to supply our customers worldwide in the usual quality.

We adjust our stocks of finished products, components and materials to the current situation in order to fulfil orders without delays. A complete and permanent control of the supply chain enables an early reaction to emerging bottlenecks.

At the same time, we have taken personnel precautions to reduce the risk of virus transmission among employees as far as possible while maintaining company processes. Shift operation was organised accordingly. For example, safety intervals prevent direct contact between the alternating shifts. Persons in key functions work from decentralised distributed locations. In addition, employees who are entrusted with administrative tasks are increasingly teleworking from home.

We have reduced travel to an unavoidable minimum. This step in no way limits the personal contact to our customers. For meetings, also in larger groups, we increasingly use online meetings, video and teleconferences.

In urgent service cases that cannot be postponed, our specialists continue to make their way to the customer - as long as the local health authorities do not prohibit such operations.

We continue to observe the situation carefully and take appropriate measures depending on further developments, including proactive communication with the customer.
